Gaza, Hamas
Persoonlijk zou ik helemaal niks doorlaten. Ga het maar bij je broeders in Egypte halen, het is niet alsof Israël je enige grens is. Ow wacht, die kotsen je inmiddels ook uit. Tsja, misschien moet je wat aan je attitude doen en niet alleen maar met geweld, oorlog en vernietiging dreigen. Oftewel de islam afzweren en toetreden tot de moderne en menselijke wereld.

Morsi
Het virulente antisemitisme van de moslimbroeders en van de islam meer in het algemeen was -hier in ieder geval- al langer bekend. Het was dan ook bepaald niet nieuws dat er van de week wat video's opdoken waarin Morsi Joden uitmaakte voor apen en varkens. Dat staat letterlijk tig keer in de koran, dus als gelovig moslim quote ie slechts. Hij betoont zich daarmee een goed moslim, zoals een nazi zich daarmee een goede nazi getoond zou hebben.
Ik denk dat mijn meest uitgebreide dossier over Egypte is en die over de moslimbroeders groeit ook gestaag. Daar stond al lang van alles in, en onder 'islam, nazisme en antisemitisme' kunt u ook het nodige vinden.
Maar nu heeft sommige mainstream media het eindelijk ook opgepakt.

That leader, Mohamed Morsi, is now president of Egypt — and his comments may be coming back to haunt him.

In een ander fragment ontkent Morsi Israëls bestaansrecht. Daarin zegt hij dat de toekomstige grenzen van de staat Palestina dezelfde moeten zijn als die van voor Israëls stichting in 1948. "Al dat gepraat over een tweestatenoplossing en vrede berust op niets meer dan een illusie... Zij (Israëliërs) zijn van nature vijandig."

Some open-minded Muslims argue that the verses should be seen in historical context and that they refer to the problems between Jews and the new religion of Muhammad at the time of writing. Many others view them as literal and applicable for all time.
For the Egyptian President to use the phrase in a live TV interview in the 21st century suggests he takes the latter view. Core beliefs such as those he has espoused for decades are not normally reversed by a year in power although this cannot be definitively ruled out.
In Europe, when Europeans say things such as expressed above, we recognise them as 'Fascistic'. When expressed by people in some other parts of the globe we appear frightened to call things what they are.

Mursi's opmerkingen kwamen dinsdag aan de orde in de Tweede Kamer. Een flink deel van de Kamer (PVV, CDA, ChristenUnie, SGP) kritiseerde mede wegens zijn uitlatingen de mogelijke steun van rond 5 miljard euro van de Europese Unie aan Egypte.

Morsi’s statements were “not equivalent to an American politician making a gaffe … but are a core aspect of the Islamist and [Muslim] Brotherhood ideology, from which its policy behavior will flow” when it solidifies its power, he said.

Encouraging our children to kill themselves for Palestine is a mother’s most glorious duty, says wife of Hamas MP
‘None of us want to die in our beds,’ says Umm Osama, of herself, her husband and her children. ‘We pray that Allah will grant us Paradise’
The wife of a Hamas member of parliament hailed the role of Palestinian mothers in preparing their children to kill themselves in acts of terrorism against Israel. Encouraging her children to “wage Jihad for the sake of allah” is “the most glorious thing a woman can do,” she said.
In an interview on Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV channel,
Umm Osama, wife of Hamas MP Khalil Al-Hayya, said that she, her husband
and her children all prayed that Allah would grant them martyrdom.

Dit zou Israël moeten zijn
Helaas is het heel anders gelopen. Het kaartje kwam ik tegen in een artikel op Artikel7:
In de Nederlandse media is het helaas onopgemerkt gebleven dat het op 24 juli precies 90 jaar geleden was dat de Volkenbond – de voorloper van de Verenigde Naties – het “Mandaat voor Palestina” vaststelde.
